Last month Vancouver City Council decided to make a big step forward and modernize the liquor laws but hidden in the details were a few rule changes that were rather silly. An interesting week for food and restaurant news.
Calling time on Edwardian liquor controls
In news close to home Vancouver is today reviewing its alcohol laws. Its is
proposed that restaurants be allowed to serve alcohol to 1pm on weekdays and
2am on weekends. So fingers crossed, lets hope this happens.
