Mis Trucos is a modern Mediterranean tapas bar set in a character house in the heart of the Davie Street shopping district. Chef Kris Barnholden combines classic French, Spanish and Italian recipes with the freshest local ingredients and his own modern twists.Some of Kris’ kitchens of note include working alongside Chef Bruce Poole at London’s Michelin-starred Chez Bruce (2000), Chef Joe Mercuri at Montreal’s famed Brontë (2005), and Chef Audrey Durbach at Vancouver’s Lucy Mae Brown (2002 – 2004) and Parkside (2008 – 2009).
