Vancouver’s Top Restaurant Writers, Bloggers and Tweeters Ranked

Firstly, congratulations to Raul, Sherman, Ben and the Georgia Straight team for being the most informative sources about Vancouver restaurants! – We all appreciate the effort and following your expansive dining experiences

Before we tuck into our refined ranking for the most suessful restaurant bloggers and social networkers in Vancouver, let’s address the scoring system and some issues we encountered.

We scored the bloggers/tweeters/writers based on activity level, dependent on the number of restaurant-related posts or tweets.

Initially, we struggled with whether or not to include professional content, such as news publications and business promotional sites.  We decided to include everyone because the internet world and social media has blurred the distinction between various writing worlds and we consider all reviews to be valid.

Secondly, we’ve made our best effort to quantify a fair value for tweets and blogs exclusively, based on content and length differences.

We acknowledge that this ranking does not account for the most recently published work and does not represent new, hard-working writers breaking into the scene.  We recognize this and when better tools come along we can demonstrate your effort.

Lastly, we may not have been able to track name and domain changes. Please notify us if you notice any updating required. Further, we think we have everyone.  If you see a person mssing, let us know.
